Bullpadel Vertex 05 W 2026
The Bullpadel Vertex 05 W 2026 — also sold as the Vertex 05 Light Woman — is the women’s version of Bullpadel’s flagship attacking racket and the model used by Delfi Brea. It keeps the diamond shape, the Vertex Core and the Top Spin rough surface of the standard Vertex 05, but drops to around 350–360 g so it is easier to accelerate.
This is not a soft, forgiving “women’s racket”. It is a genuine attacking frame for players who already finish points overhead and want a lighter version of a pro-level weapon. The Fibrix face (a fibreglass–carbon hybrid) and the Multieva core keep it more comfortable than most diamonds, and the Custom Weight system lets you tune the balance.

Verdict
The Vertex 05 W is one of the best options for women who play an attacking game. The diamond head and the high sweet spot give real punch on smashes, víboras and aggressive bandejas, while the lighter build keeps the racket fast enough at the net and less tiring over a long match. The Fibrix face is noticeably more forgiving on the arm than a full carbon face, and the Vertex Core keeps the frame stable on hard balls.
The trade-off is tolerance. The sweet spot is smaller and sits higher than on a round racket, so off-centre hits from the back lose depth and defence demands clean technique. For a strong intermediate player moving up, it can be a great step; for someone still building consistency, a round or teardrop racket will win more points.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Real attacking power in a lighter 350–360 g build — smashes and víboras finish points.
- Fibrix face (fibreglass–carbon) is more comfortable than a full carbon diamond.
- Vertex Core and Curvaktiv frame keep it stable on hard, fast balls.
- Top Spin rough surface gives strong bite on víboras and kick smashes.
- Custom Weight system lets you add up to 12 g and shift the balance.
- Air Power channel makes the head move quickly for a diamond.
Cons
- Smaller, higher sweet spot — less forgiving on off-centre hits.
- Defence and lobs from the back need clean technique.
- Designed for advanced players; demanding for developing intermediates.
- Premium price, even with the usual discount.
On-court performance
From the back
Usable, but this is not where the racket shines. The Multieva core gives decent control on slow balls and the Fibrix face helps the ball come off softly, so lobs and defensive chiquitas are manageable when you hit the centre.
Miss the sweet spot low on the face and you feel it straight away: the ball loses depth and the racket gives you less help than a round shape would. Players who spend most of the point defending will find it demanding.
At the net
Better than the shape suggests. The lighter weight and the Air Power channel make the head quick to prepare, and the Vertex Core keeps volleys solid when the ball comes in hard.
Punch volleys and put-aways at the net have real weight behind them. Reflex blocks need a firm wrist, because the higher balance makes the racket a little slower to recover than a teardrop.
Overheads
This is why you buy it. The diamond head and the high sweet spot give smashes real pace, and the extra head speed from the lighter build helps you reach the fence on a good x3. Víboras and aggressive bandejas come off fast and low.
If you want even more punch, adding the Custom Weight pieces at the top moves the balance towards the head — at the cost of some speed at the net.
Comfort & vibration
Comfortable for an attacking diamond. The Fibrix hybrid face absorbs more of the impact than pure carbon, and the Multieva core softens slow shots, so the arm stays fresher than with most power rackets in this category.
Off-centre hits still transmit more vibration than on a round, soft racket. Players with a sensitive elbow should look at a round shape first.
Spin
Very good. The Top Spin rough surface grips the ball and the diamond head generates fast swing speed, so víboras, cut smashes and kick serves get plenty of rotation.
Who is it for / not for
Good choice if…
- You play an attacking game and want to finish points with the smash and víbora.
- You are an advanced player or a strong intermediate with clean technique.
- You find standard men’s attacking rackets too heavy or tiring.
- You want a pro-level diamond that is easier on the arm than full carbon.
- You like to tune your racket with weights.
Avoid if…
- You are still building consistency and need a big, forgiving sweet spot.
- You mostly defend from the back and win with lobs and placement.
- You have elbow or shoulder problems — a round, soft racket is safer.
Vertex 05 W or standard Vertex 05?
Both rackets share the same idea: diamond shape, Vertex Core, Curvaktiv, Air Power and Top Spin surface. The W version is built lighter, at around 350–360 g, and uses a Fibrix face for a slightly softer, more forgiving feel. The standard Vertex 05 is heavier and stiffer, with more raw power but also more demands on the arm.
For most women, and for lighter players in general, the W is the better choice: you can swing it faster for longer, and the overhead power is still there. If you are still developing and want an easier racket for the women’s intermediate level, the Adidas Cross It Light 2026 (round) or the Babolat Air Vertuo 2.6 (teardrop) are far more forgiving.
